A: Glad you're back. We missed you during the vacation. How have you been?

B: Fine, thanks. I had a wonderful time at home. I did quite a bit of reading. Did you have a good time at school?

A: We certainly did. We saw quite a few excellent films. During the Spring Festival we visited many places. We had a get-together with many old friends.

B: So we all had a fine vacation. And now we must get down to some good solid work.

A：真高兴你回来了。你度假的时候我们都很想你。过得怎么样？

B：挺好的，谢谢。我在家过得可高兴啦，读了好多书。你们在学校过得也不错吧？

A：当然了。我们看了好几部非常好的电影。春节期间我们去了很多地方。我们还和很多老朋友一起搞了个联欢会。

B：这样看来我们都过了个不错的假期，现在我们必须着手做具体的事了。

 

— What are we going to have for lunch?

— Fish, vegetables and egg soup.

— Are we going to have rice or steamed bread?

— Both, I think. And there'll be noodles too.

— Shall I go and get the dishes?

— Yes, please. And I'll get the bowls, spoons and chopsticks.

— 我们午餐吃什么？

— 鱼、蔬菜和鸡蛋汤。

— 吃米饭还是吃馒头？

— 我想都有吧。而且面条也有。

— 我去拿碟子吧？

—     好的，我去拿碗、勺子和筷子。

 

— Hello, you two. Where have you been?

— We've just been to the shop.

— What did you buy?

— I bought some envelopes and a bottle of ink.

— How much is the ink?

— Twenty-three cents.

— I must go and get a bottle too. I've run out of ink.

— 嗨，你们两个，去哪儿了？

— 我们刚刚去商店了。

— 买什么了？

— 我买了一些信封和一瓶墨水。

— 墨水多少钱一瓶？

— 两毛三。

— 我也得去买一瓶。我的墨水用完了。
